Year 3 visit to Butser Ancient Farm
Year 3 children have been studying The Stone Age. They enjoyed a fantastic trip to Butser Ancient Farm where they took part in several 'Stone Age' activities. They made fences by weaving hazel wood branches, took part in an archaeological dig, used flint, chalk and charcoal to make patterns on stones and made twine bracelets. Most of the activities were outside, some were in the wattle and daub longhouse. What a great day out!
