The Queen Visits The Lexicon

Our Head Boy & Head Girl joined hundreds of well-wishers at The Lexicon on Friday 19th October to welcome the Queen.

On Friday 19th October, the Queen came to The Lexicon and unveiled a plaque to commemorate the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre.  All Bracknell Forest Schools had two representatives and Meadow Vale sent along our Head Boy and Head Girl (Tai and Georgia) together with our Deputy Headteacher Mr Freeman, to enjoy this very special occasion.  Luckily, it was an Inset Day (school was closed!) so lots of Meadow Vale pupils were also able to attend - one pupil in Year 2 who was there with his mum was lucky and got close enough to offer a bouquet of flowers to her majesty, which she accepted with a smile!  Another pupil and his sister were interviewed and appeared on local TV! The crowds waved flags and everyone had an amazing time.  CLICK HERE  to see some photos.
